I have put all of my poetry up on the site now :) I am now going to work on putting my autobiography up.  My first task is to make the format more reader-friendly.  It's going to take a while for me to type up the chapters, but I will do my best to get it done.  :) :)

I have got 21 of 32 pages of my poetry up on my site so far but that leaves 11 to go.  I am reminiscing as I post my poems so it is taking me longer than it otherwise would.  Plus, I have been working out some issues in my personal life which is slowing me down.  It's all for fun anyways. More to come! :) 

Site Coming Along

I added some more poems and the first chapter of my autobiography to my web site today.  I was without internet for a little while, so while I haven't gotten too much up, I will be taking advantage of the extra time I have to get all of my material on the site.  I now have a faster computer so things are going smoother as far as building the site goes.  I look to have the rest of my poetry up in the next week or so.  The autobiography may take a bit longer because it involves a lot of typing of the written out version.  Well, I am enjoying building the site.  It is a fun hobby that is keeping my busy.  More coming soon!

Merry Christmas

It's Christmas!  I spent Christmas Eve with my Grandparents and we went to church.  After we got home, I finally got some time to work on my website.  I finished the menu bar and created a skeleton for my site to be filled in with my poetry, autobiography, videos, and digital art.  I did get some of my digital art and videos up and running. 

 I'm on my way out the door to go to John's house.  I can't wait to give him his presents!!! My favorite part about Christmas is giving gifts.  I like to see the smiles on people's faces when they get something they like.  Well, John just got here so Merry Christmas!

Building New Website

I've begun construction on my new website, Ashleigh's Artistic Expressions.  Since I lost two sites through Geocities, I decided to try Angelfire and so far I like it a lot better.  I've decided to focus my site on my writing and digital art.  The web development has been challenging but I'm enjoying learning more about it.  Tonight I started on my menu bar and created a graphic header.  I have the color scheme pretty well worked out and I'm optomistic that this will be my best site yet.

Life has handed me opportunity wrapped up in hardship wrapping paper.  I'm finding myself with extra time to do the things I enjoy, although being out of work at the moment has created some financial strains.  I'm going back to work in mid january or sooner since my boss said she will be calling me when business picks up.  In the mean time I'll continue to write poetry and make digital art.  And soon it will be up on my site!
